ACE&M directors and employees have been in the local and global construction industry for more than 40 years. Our experience spans all sections of construction and energy projects and we have gained this experience through direct hands on involvement in all engineering and construction disciplines. Our directors are fully immersed in each and every project and focused on providing the best outcomes for each project.
CONSTRUCTION APPROACH
Each construction project is unique subsequently ACEM invoke first principles in each type of construction project from design review, value management, design in safety through to constructability and only then onto the implementation process.
Subsequently we are in fact refining and improving the construction delivery process for each project. To do so ACEM provide a robust framework utilizing the collective experience of our own team, coupled with leading architects, engineers, specialist consultants and subcontractors who have done so with us in the past.
ACEM directors together with its project team, work with each stakeholder to maximize the optimum solution for each project taking into consideration site requirements, special components, equipment and systems, flexibility, expandability, training / mentoring and maintenance requirements.

Max Goldstein
Projects and Commercials
Max has both local and global experience gained through delivery of multi-disciplined projects in a diverse range of industries indicated in ACEM’S project examples. Max has sound understanding of procurement models D&C, MC, CM, EPCM, T/K, PPP using HGC21, GC21, AS4902, AS4905, AS4300 and other contracts.
Max’s strengths include:
– Managing multiple construction sites across multiple geographical locations
– Understanding operational needs of projects
– Mitigating safety and environmental issues
– Managing and communicating with diverse user groups as well as multiple stakeholders and governments locally and internationally
– Selection and recruitment of personnel
– Monitoring of subcontractor and supplier performance
– Acting on any performance shortfalls to reduce risk.
Max’s experience has provided him with a firm understanding of working collaboratively with clients, authorities, subcontractors, consultants and other stakeholders to verify any buildability, value for money and risk issues. Max holds a Master of Project Management in the Built Environment and is Registered as a Certified Practising Project Director with Australian Institute of Project Managers, Certified Electrical Engineer, Cert IV OHS and Frontline Management.
Ian Mcdonald
Construction and HSEQ
Ian is a highly experienced, committed and goal focused Construction/Site Manager and Safety Manager with a demonstrated track record achieving challenging project goals and milestones and leading a zero-harm workplace. ACEM’s project examples are indicative of some of the large projects Ian was directly involved in as a Construction/Site Manager.
Ian’s strengths include:

Ian is comfortable with technical and logistical complexity and is skilled in developing effective construction processes and methodologies to drive efficient and productive work-sites to complete defect-free construction.
Ian holds Diploma’s in OHS, Frontline Management, and is a Certified Tradesman.
