AQUACULTURE SALMON FARM

GRAFTON CORRECTIONAL CENTRE
Works involved moving 350,000m3 of earth over 90,000m2 area, completing 20KM of trenching and a large portion of foundations for the building structures. In addition, installation of security and surveillance systems (access control, CCTV, motion detection, Xray equipment, UVSS, Communications equipment, high end security/monitoring equipment, magnetic locks, security fencing)

NYNGAN & BROKEN HILL PV SOLAR FARM
100MW Nyngan SF and 50MW Broken Hill SF. The works included roadworks, trenching, installation of fixed trackers, PV modules, inverters, electrical works, CCTV system, SCADA systems.
Services Provided: Project Management, SiteManagement, HSEQ Management, Contract Management, Testing and Commissioning including R2 Testing.
Value: $170M for the above works from a total project value of $440M

WYNDHAM PV SOLAR FARM
5MW roof mounted fixed photovoltaic system. The works included, installation of fixed PV modules, electrical works, CCTV system, SCADA systems.

HUON SALMON FARM TASMANIA
Construction of very large concrete and precast treatment tanks, fish tanks, and waste treatment tanks, service and process tanks housed within a 12,000m2 building with a substructure comprising of piles with slab on ground onto which was erected a structured steel portal frame with wall and roof cladding. The building was powered by both essential and non-essential power and contained state of the art process and piping systems to maintain the fish growth process to maturity.

UNIVERSITY OF NEW ENGLAND
Construction of a 3,500 m² multi storey education facility at the University of New England’s Armidale Campus. The building has a number of façade types throughout ranging from glazed walls, brick façade, composite cladding and cladded rain screen systems housing lecture theatres, labs and museum

TELECOMMUNICATION , DATA CENTRE AND SOLAR PROJECTS
Seven separate sites in remote/regional NSW, Qld, SA, NT and TAS. The sites varied in size and dollar value. The sites were all Greenfield and involved the construction of data centres and support buildings with high technology engineering services, assorted services buildings and amenities, office sections. The data centres were connected to several large antenna arrays 16m high x 13.5m dia weighing 50T each requiring large pad footings. The area of the buildings and the antenna arrays were bounded by an electrified security fence as well as an external boundary stock fence. The sites contain safety, security systems, BMS and powered from both non-essential and essential energy including a solar farm adjacent to the sites for specific essential services

NATIONAL MEASUREMENT INSTITUTE
Two-level basement car park, common podium and two separate 4 level buildings. Bridging structure installed on levels 1-3 incorporating anti seismic measures and accommodation of underground rail line. In addition, works included construction of 45 laboratories, extensive hazardous separation ventilation systems, high level water storage, electrical power, lighting, CCTV system, motion detectors, fire suppression and detection system.

LISMORE BASE MENTAL HOSPITAL
9,000m2 two storey building with 460 car park facility (under croft and external), landscaping and courtyard areas. The building has a 40-bed adult acute in-patient unit, as well as a specialised 8 bed child and adolescent mental health unit.

ALTERNATE WASTE FACILITY JACKS GULLY
Sustainable waste recovery project utilizing an anaerobic digestion process converting putrescible waste into electricity through a 4MW cogeneration system on a 8,500m2 SMP facility producing its own power needs and also exporting power to the grid. The production facility was built onto an existing landfill and included a 2,000m2 green waste facility. The methane gas from the site was captured in large containers to provide fuel to the cogeneration system. The internal portions of the main building incorporated conveyor systems and services integrated with external piping and processes.

SYDNEY AIRPORT RUNWAYS AND TAXI PROJECTS
Runways 0725 and 16L34R and associated Taxiway projects including civil, electrical, and building works. Work involved widening and resurfacing the runways, taxiways; improve associated lighting systems using deep base canister technology to allow fast maintenance procedures, retrofit control buildings with new regulator equipment. Testing, Commissioning.

HEWLETT PACKARD MANUFACTURING PLANT MIDDLE EAST
Conversion of a 6,000m2 warehouse to an industrial chemical ink production plant included. Works included mechanical, electrical (MV, LV distribution systems, and 2×1.6 MVA generator sets) process control systems, architectural, civil, and structural and infrastructure works on an overall 30,000m2 site.

DATA CENTRE IRELAND
5,000m2 communication and data centre for a transport communication hub in Ireland. The work included data centre, services building, communication control room, offices, essential and non-essential power systems, HVAC, fire detection and suppression, motion detectors, CCTV camera’s, BMS control systems.

PHARMACEUTICAL AND BIOTECHNOLOGICAL PRODUCTION FACILITY MIDDLE EAST
14,000m2 multi-level buildings constructed to suit cGMP to pharmaceutical, biotechnological, and clean room standards. The work involved 5,000 m2 modular clean rooms, data centre, QA/QC labs, offices automated storage areas, hot and cold rooms, energy center, process gas systems, bioreactors, 22KV MV/LV and 2MVA generator systems, HVAC, process and piping systems, fire detection and suppression, CCTV camera’s, PLC and BMS control systems and equipment.

SOLAR ENERGY GENERATING STATIONS (SEGS) CALIFORNIA USA
Three separate stations each with a net output of 80MW were designed and constructed in 12 months in consecutive years and contained a control room with data centre and administration building, power block containing turbine and generator system, process piping systems, MCC’s, switchgear, PLC’s and DCS system, transformers, high voltage yard. . The installation used parabolic mirrors mounted on movable sun tracking structures to produce approximately 90% of the electricity from sunlight with the remaining 10% by natural gas. The sun’s rays reflected from the parabolic mirrors focused onto central glass tubes containing synthetic oils which were heated to approx. 475 deg C and through a combination of heat exchangers, combined cycle gas turbine drove generators to produce electricity which was connected to the Edision grid.
